I. There is a problem in society today. That problem is:

The usage of the penny in the United States currency is worthless. The penny can barely buy anything. It is carried in wallets and purses and causes nothing but extra weight.



II. Facts that demonstrate that there is a problem are:

It is more expensive to manufacture a penny. A penny costs 1.67 to making the value of production larger than it’s worth.

Counting pennies causes other clients to be impatient at the lines. Abolishment will limit the wait.
